cooking up the offense like he's cooking ravioli

in the past i hated javascript and thought that anyone who used javascript made pretty poor web pages. now that i am using it more and more, my feelings have changed. javascript can be used to do some pretty low-down things, like open a million pop-up windows or those pointless alerts like ‘my site is so cool, don’t you think’, but it can also do some very imporant things, such as open one window properly. some of my new-found love of javascript has to do with its advancement over the years and more cross-browser compatibility. well, i know that was boring, but it just happened to be what i was thinking at the time.
