i had my first 23rd birthday party tonight at the in-laws’ house. i got some really good gifts and a free demo dvd. so far my favorite is a comedy cd by some folk singer (sorry, no link, i left the cd in the car). once i have listened to the whole thing i will fill you in about it all. rachel gave me, in addition to the free dvd, the italian job on dvd and al franken’s new book, lies and the lying liars who tell them. that’s all for now.
tomorrow rachel and i are heading up to the alma matter’s homecoming. stay tuned for pictures.
okay, only the person to find the newest easter egg can rightfully call themselves ‘the man’.
the googlebot finally visited my site last night at exactly 9:00 pm. the only minor problem which should hopefully be resolved soon is that a search for eightfivethree brings up rachel’s page and not mine.
i spent part of the evening reading in the cafe at barnes & noble. it would have been quite peaceful had it not been for the ten attractive fellows playing d&d. as a result, however, i now know more about lotr than i would like to admit.
last week, a potter barn service rep. emailed me saying that someone would be in contact with me soon. still haven’t heard from them.
in one of the comments, adam said he was looking for a zebra shirt. adam, a simple google search for ‘zebra shirt’ led me to the final result.
as per the request by adam ‘the man’ there is an easter egg hidden somewhere at eightfivethree. now, i know you are asking yourself, is it easter already? of course it’s not, there is just something hidden on my site, like an easter egg. the first one is just a primer for future eggs on my site. it is pretty easy to find. the first person to find it (and make a comment in this post) will win my congratulations. happy hunting.
