google adsense

last night i got an email from google notifying me that i had been accepted into their adsense program. i had previously applied and been denied because they did not accept ‘blogs’. the email said this policy had changed and i have now been accepted.
more on this later, out of battery, gotta go…

So all of those ads in your right side column are a consequence of the Google Adsense program? Is this a good thing? Explain it to me.

yes, it is a very good thing. i make money everytime someone clicks on one and it doesn’t cost me anything. and i guess i could argue that since the ads change based on the content of my site, my viewers benefit also.

So, one could simply click on the ad, with no intention of buying anything, and without providing any personal information, and you would make a nickel (or so)? Will you earn enuf to keep your inlaws living in style for their retirement?

when I used to use adsense, i made about 5-25 cents a click, but it has declined since then.

however, i do remember when i had a click worth $35…that was pretty cool.
