i have a question for anyone that knows anything about Indian (people from India) naming conventions. at school everyone calls me ‘johnson’, not ‘travis’. such as ‘hi johnson’ or ‘nice job johnson’. does anyone know why this is?

hmmm, maybe its because you’re indian?
is it because their surname is usually first, and their first name is usually last? like, would you be known as johnson travis over there? am i even making sense?

I had it when the soldiers in question can’t defend themselves. It is just television. I can’t believe what I see.
I thought all guys call each other by their last name.

As far as your name being johnson, i’m pretty sure it’s because my name is johnson and so was my father’s name. and if you had a kid they would be named johnson – and so on…
