We are on our way to a BBQ at my parent’s house. As is becoming the norm, look for photos tonight.

I am getting an amazing amount of junk mail over these last few days. I used to get a lot, but now most of what I get is not getting caught by my junk mail filter. I guess the spammers are just getting smarter.

the clam bake is over. Relive it now.

we are having a clam back today to celebrate Memorial Day. Look for pictures from our exciting day later tonight.

Scripting News: ‘BTW, one of the coolest things about the movie is that the Vice President is a Dick Cheney look-alike: he’s stubborn, stupid and Republican. The President, who defers to the VP, is cheesy and stupid and wears a military bomber jacket in the Oval Office. Someone in Hollywood, a Democratic stronghold, had fun with that.’
We went to see the movie last night. I enjoyed it quite a bit. It seemed like a liberal propaganda video. Treat the earth better, be nice to everyone in the world, and bad things won’t happen.

I have finally finished my new photo gallery. It is nothing fancy, but I never was able to get myself to finish the fancy one. You can see my new gallery, in all its glory, by viewing pictures from last weekends trip to Fort Scott. I should note that the gallery is still a work in progress and will be updated sometime.
Also, I am going to spend my weekend working on an entirely new blogging system. I am going to use the MetaWeblog API which will allow me to post directly from programs such as NetNewWire or ecto.

Pepsi Smash was on The WB last night. I didn’t think it was going to be all that great, I was only watching it to see Counting Crows play their new song, but I enjoyed the majority of the show. I guess they have encore performances from last night on Sunday and The Cure will be on this next Thursday.
Most of the show is live, but to allow bands time to change, they cut back to recorded stuff. It was enjoyable and I can now say I watch something on The WB.

Wired: ‘California’s Senate voted on Thursday to support a bill to limit a new e-mail service by No. 1 Web search company, Google, over concerns it could threaten the privacy of users.’
This is so stupid. I don’t think the state of California should do this. If a user is afraid of having their privacy invaded, they shouldn’t sign up for the 1GB mail service. I don’t think it is fair to limit how Google does business. While I don’t disagree with some of the restrictions past, and as a result of them be more inclined to sign up for the service, I think Google has the right to offer any service they choose. If the service invades in to the privacy of its users too much, the market should determine that, not the lawmakers.

Over the past couple of days I have been wondering a lot if Tony Blair was just as conservative as George Bush. I know they are buddies in all these war proceedings, but do they believe in the same things? Does anyone know anything about Tony Blair? Please share.

DSC00636_1085626813.JPGI spent the evening fixing rachel’s computer. I had to replace the hard drive, which resulted in the picture above, and reinstall everything. I have most of the process done, but still have quite a few programs left to install.
