Surprising

NPR: “Vice President Dick Cheney surprised an Iowa audience by saying he disagreed with President Bush’s position on gay marriage.”

Maybe this could be the first step in the right direction. Too bad for Missouri, we have already put a constitutional ban on gay marriage. So I guess even if the president let states choose for themselves, Missouri’s mind is made up.

That is extremely suprising, and I always thought that Cheney was a meniacally evil robot that stole old peoples pills.

Yes, Cheney’s daughter is an outspoken lesbian. Still, his comments are meaningless. The Republican ticket has sold its soul to the Religious Right. Cheney’s “disagreement” is merely window dressing.

oh, and I have a question…my uncle Joe recently went to San Francisco and married my now Aunt Jason. My question is are they still legally married? I mean, I know they’d say they’ll never consider it otherwise, but does anyone know?
