I haven’t written too much about the exciting gifts I received for my birthday, but I would like to share the joys of one of them.
Thanks to my hermana, I got Arrested Development: Season 1 on DVD. This television show deserves its Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series. It is by far the funniest show to television, and now the funniest thing on DVD. Over the course of about four days, Rachel and I were able to watch all 22 episodes. We had seen almost all of them already, but still laughed uncontrollably for so many hours.
I am not certain who my favorite character is, but I think it might now be Buster Bluth. He is just so great. Rachel’s favorite is easily George Michael and I can’t blame her, he is a good guy.
The new season starts next Sunday. All you really need to know is that George is on the run and Michael (not to be confused with his son, George Michael) is doing his best to run the family company. I can’t wait for next Sunday.
I will have to add it to my collection.
What does Hey Brother mean?
Maybe we could barrow it sometime?
if you were to borrow it you would know what “hey brother” meant.
Would I know what “hermana” meant too?
“hermana” is spanish for sister. “hermana menor” means younger sister.
hermano is something from AD. you have to watch it, I won’t give this away for free.
I’m glad you got something cool…I will have to watch the show next Sunday to figure out what hermano means!
I doubt hermano will be in the show, it might be, but it means “brother”. GOB’s girlfriend, Marta, was in love with his brother, but she is a spanish soap star, so she said “hermano”. But you still should watch it next weekend. it is such a great show.
Thanks for the mini spanish lesson! I will watchthe show even though I found out what hermano means. =)
