I tried to create a new model this morning and found that Ruby on Rails was broken due to the new installation of Tiger. It has something to do with Tiger’s version of Ruby (it is 1.8.2, but somehow different). Never fear, though, this fixed it.
I had my first final this morning and it went even better than I was expecting. I knew it would be easy, since it was an open note test, but it only took about 25 minutes. I have my last test tonight at 5:30 and I am confident it will go well, too. I have a little bit of studying left for it, but by 7:30 I will be all done with school!
Also, Paul pointed out that it is 53 today.
I just email Rachel (from work) to let her know about my exciting news. I just got the new Ryan Adams CD (yep, that’s right, you won’t have to hear about it coming out soon anymore) and she just replied with ‘feel free to keep it at work
’.
UPDATE: I have further talked over this issue with Rachel and she now says, ‘Feel free to bring it home.’
Today’s Dilbert was a little extra funny.
It’s Chelsea’s birthday today. She is 22. Go over to her new site and wish her a happy birthday.

I went out guitar shopping with my dad this afternoon and we decided on the Taylor 100e. I don’t currently play guitar, but with my upcoming graduation, I will have more time to learn how. Can’t wait until it gets here. Thanks Mom and Dad.

I was all set to make a googlemap for my time spent in Lamoni, so I headed over to maps.google.com, typed in the zip (50140), zoomed into a level where I could make out landmarks, and found the message above. Even the satellites don’t give Lamoni any respect.

I went for a morning walk (aka ‘Starbucks run’) and took this picture. Not a person in sight, but that will all change in a few hours.
