Leaving Portland

We made it to Portland late last night. We didn’t get to do as much as we hoped here, but it has been fun. The hotel is quite nice and the city looks pretty neat. I am sure we will be back here within the next few weeks for fun and shopping (I need new work clothes and Rachel should get some back-to-school stuff, too). We are so close to the Apple Store, but I think we won’t get the chance to stop by… next time, though, we will.

This might be the last time we have internet access for a while. I am not sure how long it will take to get it started at our new place. We can probably go up to the school or find some live computer, we will see.

On to Eugene!

On to Eugene! We can’t wait to hear all about it. You don’t have to tell us every thing though if you are too busy.

Hi Travis! I’ve been following your trip. Did you know that you were in Portland with your Mom, Dad-Dad and me when you were about two. You and your Mom joined us on a trip to visit Marguerite in Port Townsend, Wa. We stayed at a nice hotel and I think you and your Mom went swimming while Dad-Dad and I had dinner. Your being there now brought back some very pleasant memories. Love, Grandma
