On a related note, being out here in Oregon has left me with plenty of options when it comes to sports teams to root for, just none of them local. I’ve had some time since moving here to think about which teams I plan on rooting for and when I get a little bit more time will share my list of teams. We’re off to get some ice cream!

Curiously, when I reached La Jolla late last night, the bar was the only place where I could get a sandwich, so I stumbled in there, and damned if they didn’t have some football game on the big screen, blaring in my face. I did my best to ignore it, and managed to do pretty well for a while. Then I realized it was the Chiefs who were playing, so I knew it was time to pay my check and skedaddle!
