Blunt
Last night’s SNL was a pre-Christmas repeat. And in hopes of it being the one where Lazy Sunday aired, we watched it. Unfortunately, it was the digital short where Samburg is eats a head of lettuce. Funny, but no Lazy Sunday.
Anyways, the musical guest was James Blunt. We heard him when the show first aired, but this time I decided to pick up his song from iTunes Music Store (I still don’t like the store). Rachel says he plays for girls, which naturally means she likes him, but I thought his songs were pretty good last night, too. He’s no Jack Johnson, Ryan Adams or Wilco, but he did knock Coldplay off the top of the British charts, so that has to count for something. When I get a chance, I think I am going to pick up this album.
Has anyone heard the whole album yet? Is it any good?
I actually have it. It is pretty good.
He has a pretty high voice, but it’s pretty. I think the interesting thing about him is that he used to be a Royal Navy Captain stationed in Kosovo. Anywho…I like his stuff. Wisemen is a good song. High is pretty good too.
