I am still playing basketball every Sunday night, but I haven’t written about it for a while because it hasn’t been going so well. We actually haven’t won a game since our very first one, and it was a practice game so it doesn’t even count. I really let the team down by fouling out. Not [ READ MORE ]
I found a list today of MLB players in the World Baseball Classic. It was fun to look over the list and see which players would be playing for which country. Like Andruw Jones playing for the Netherlands. I wouldn’t have guessed he was Dutch. I still think the Dominican Republic is the team to [ READ MORE ]

I came across a funny PHP Easter Egg today. Append the string “?=PHPE9568F36-D428-11d2-A769-00AA001ACF42″ to the end of URI of any PHP script and you get to see the easter egg. For example, my site runs PHP, so going to http://travisj.org/?=PHPE9568F36-D428-11d2-A769-00AA001ACF42 shows the dog picture. Try it out on other PHP sites. And for a bonus, “?=PHPB8B5F2A0-3C92-11d3-A3A9-4C7B08C10000″ [ READ MORE ]
I am not usually excited for the soundtrack to a children’s movie to come out, but the upcoming Curious George movie has a great soundtrack. All the songs are by Jack Johnson. [ READ MORE ]
The annual Steve Jobs keynote address at Macworld took place today. I tried watching the recorded webcast, but I couldn’t get a good connection, maybe later. The new hardware they announced, MacBook Pro and a new iMac, isn’t all that exciting to me. I actually have the previous versions of both machines and am quite [ READ MORE ]
