I upgraded my site today to the latest version of WordPress, revision 3708, today and added the new widgets plugins from the guys at Automattic. After adding the plugins, I had to then upgrade to a theme that supported plugins. K2 fit the bill, but I had to pull the latest from SVN to take advantage of the plugins functionality. So much fun!
I’m not sure I’ll ever understand what all of this means. Do you think I should talk to my webmaster and see if he can install it for me?
I really like K2. I think it is a brilliant theme…totally customizable and VERY powerful. I’m still on their beta release 163.
