WordPress 2.3 was recently released and I happened to see the announcement just a couple hours after the release. I quickly upgraded and am enjoying the new version quite a bit. Most of my enjoyment is coming from playing with my new theme. Having a theme with two widget enabled columns is just great (for pretty obvious reasons).
The big new feature with 2.3 is the official inclusion of Tags. I’m still trying to figure out how I want to tag something versus how I want to categorize it and as you can see from this post I chose the same for both.
I plan on working on my current theme a little bit more then releasing it for anyone else to use if wanted. It’s a really basic theme, but it works for me.
